Composable Architecture

IT that adapts to you,not the other way around.

Syneto designs architectures built around your business needs. Composable, flexible, modular.

We start from your needs, not ours.

Syneto philosophy

A different operating system

Unlike other hyperconverged solutions, SynetoOS natively includes Data Protection and Disaster Recovery. Each node is self-contained, complete, independent. This changes everything.

Sartorial design

We can build IT architectures according to the customer's specific needs, starting from their actual needs.

Coexistence or substitution

Syneto can coexist with existing infrastructure, or replace all or part of it. The decision is yours.

The key advantage

Design follows the customer.
Not the other way around.

Traditional HCI imposes configurations with strict constraints on node count, hardware and dedicated networks. Syneto starts the other way around: we ask you what you need, then design the architecture.

Deployment scenarios

Five scenarios, endless combinations

From the leanest of single-node configurations to the multi-site star scenario-each architecture is designed around your workload, your budget, and your disaster recovery priorities.

Five architectures, one platform

Single-node + Software Appliance

A solution consisting of a single Syneto node that replicates to another node, which consists of a third-party hardware

2 nodes Master + Slave

Two nodes with different hardware characteristics. In case of a disaster and restart on the DR, depending on the sizing you will be able to: restart with the entire workload or with only the main VMs. Performance will be determined by the configuration defined. In any case, all machines, applications and data are replicated and ready at the

03

2 Active-Active twin nodes

Two identical nodes configured in Active-Active mode. If one node fails, the other can take the full workload with no degradation perceived by users or applications.

04

RAIN's N+1 multi-node system

Multi-node scenario configured in RAIN N+1 mode. For high-workload environments where, even if a node is lost, the entire workload is sustained by the remaining nodes thanks to circular replication.

Star configuration

A Syneto node sized for the specific local workload (Edge or Core appliance) is placed in each peripheral location. Their replicas will be sent to the Syneto positioned in HQ (Core appliance or Syneto Software-only on third-party hardware), sized appropriately to provide centralized services and DR role to peripheral locations.

Add the CloudGate powered by Cove

Each of the five scenarios can be combined with the 100% cloud backup solution offered by Syneto through CloudGate powered by Cove. Protection that goes all the way to the cloud, without compromise.

Traditional HCI vs. Syneto

HCIs with distributed file systems impose their own design. Syneto, with its OS, follows yours.

HCI with distributed FS

Architecture dictates the design
  • Minimum cluster of 3-4 nodes: no single-node, no small scenarios.
  • All nodes must share the same configuration (CPU, RAM, disks).
  • Dedicated high-speed network and low-latency switches required.
  • Hard to coexist with existing infrastructure.
  • Existing hardware is rarely reusable as a DR target.

HCI with SynetoOS

The design follows your needs
  • Start with a single node and grow when needed.
  • Mix nodes with different hardware configurations.
  • Runs on existing network infrastructure, with no imposed constraints.
  • Coexists with existing infrastructure, or replaces it (partially or fully).
  • Software Appliance brings SynetoOS to third-party hardware, turning it into native DR.
