Technical Support Specialist with Spanish (Remote, Italy)

Who Are You?
- You have a solid Information Technology background, software, desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), hardware, networking, NAS, SAN and virtualization technologies;
- You have a genuine interest in technology, you are a quick learner with previous experience in support activities, willing to work on a daily basis with software, hardware, bugs and issues to be solved;
- You possess availability, patience and spirit of collaboration to manage daily interactions with many co-workers and internal departments.
We need your expertise for
L1/L2 remote support through company’s ticketing system, for the resolution of any technical problem encountered by customers on company’s technologies, both during weekdays and 24/7 rotation.
What we need you to do
- First level support
- Provide remote technical support, through ticketing system and by phone;
- Constantly monitor and manage the Helpdesk Portal, to immediately intercept any new request.
- Second level support
- Daily perform internal testing to replicate reported issues and finding possible solutions;
- Remotely interact with customers and their infrastructures, in Italian language.
What skills and experience you need
- Customer oriented, in particular for technical activities;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Able to listen, collect information and write technical documentation;
- Able to quickly understand customer needs and propose technical solutions;
- High energy, result oriented individual who will join an international company;
- a BS/BA in Computer Engineering or Computer Science;
- minimum of 3 years working experience in in first and/or second level customers support;
- Italian, Spanish and English are mandatory.
Any of the following would be an advantage:
- VCP-DCV, VCP-NV or VCP-CMA certification for VMware vSphere;
- Networking implementation and troubleshooting (routing and switching);
- Linux/Unix scripting or programming skills.
